Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl

An Easy Breakfast Recipe

As someone who loves her smoothies, I was a little hesitant to try a smoothie you don’t drink through a straw. After seeing photos of smoothie bowls everywhere, I finally decided to give it a try. Let’s just say, my three-year-old was the first one done with hers….enough said. If you’ve been wanting to try a smoothie bowl, I highly encourage you to try this one!

The Ingredients

1 C. frozen Strawberries and Bananas

1/2 C. Vanilla Yogurt

1/4 C. Milk

1 Tbsp. Honey

1/4 tsp. pure Vanilla Extract

4 fresh Strawberries, sliced

1/2 C. Blueberries

1 Banana, sliced

1/2 C. Granola

Directions

  1. Blend frozen strawberries and bananas, yogurt, milk, honey, and vanilla in blender, until smooth. Don’t blend too long, you want the mixture to be thicker than a normal smoothie.
  2. Transfer to a bowl and top with fresh blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and granola.
  3. Enjoy with a spoon and never look at smoothies the same way again 🙂

Serves 2.
